MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

BACKGROUND:
The Olivia Amoah-Bosompem Memorial Scholarship Fund was initiated and established in Spring of 2018 by the 1996 University of Ghana Alumni, and friends of Olivia Wiafe, (nee Amoah-Bosompem). Olivia, completed University of Ghana in 1996, majoring in English and History. She pursued her MBA studies at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, Nashville, TN in General Management and Human and Organizational Performance. (HOP) in 2003.
Olivia was vibrant, assertive, intelligent, hard-working, loved fashion, generous, heartwarming, confident, kind-hearted, possessed good leadership skills, and was a people person. Also, Olivia’s love and advocacy for the poor, especially the homeless cannot be overemphasized. “Mama Oli, Oli Posh” affectionately known by all, affected almost everyone she came into contact with. Olivia was passionate about connecting/networking among Legon Alumni in North America to help better the lives of alumni and friends.
